EcoJohn Basic is a separating composting toilet, which collects waste in a special environmental box inside the toilet. Solid and liquid waste is separated from one another. This model is equipped with a heating device that simply dries out the waste. When the box is full, one can easily open the toilet and remove the box. Next, simply add the entire box to your compost pile and after a few months the waste and box will disintegrate.
The composting process speeds up due to the 12 V heating device underneath the box. It has a thermostat that controls the temperature inside the box depending on level of waste in the box.
